Billy Carlton Wood Jr.

July 27, 1972 – October 4, 2026

Billy Carlton Wood Jr. passed away unexpectedly on October 4, 2026, at the age of 54.

Born on July 27, 1972, Billy was the son of Donna Wood and the late Billy Carlton Wood Sr. He was raised in Altamonte Springs, Florida, where his adventurous spirit and love for life began to take shape.

Billy is survived by his children; Brandon, Brianna, Christian, and Cole; his grandson, Liam; his mother, Donna Wood; his sister, Stephanie Wood-Collini; his nephew, Christopher; girlfriend Stephanie Edmiston and her daughters Sydney and Samantha, and aunts, uncles, and also lifelong friends who will forever cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Carlton Wood Sr.

Billy had a lifelong passion for racing. The journey began at just two years old, when he was first placed on a motorcycle with training wheels. From BMX bikes and motorcross to the thrill of every Corvette that only few could imagine, Billy lived his full life from the beginning at 0-60.

He lived life on his own terms, with a bold spirit, an unmistakable personality, and a presence that was impossible to ignore. There was never a dull moment when Billy was around. He had a way of making life more exciting, leaving behind stories, memories, and an impression that will never be forgotten.

Those who knew Billy understood that he was truly one of a kind. As the saying goes

“It must be hard being Billy – gotta love him.”

It was more than a statement; it was a reflection of the unforgettable person he was and the love so many had for him.

Though his time here was far too short, the memories he created and the lives he touched will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. His adventurous spirit, larger-than-life personality, and love for those around him will never be forgotten.

In Billy’s memory, we ask everyone to be kind, love one another, and cherish the time we have together.

Rest in peace, Billy. You will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
