Mrs. Barbara King Martin

Barbara King Martin, age 86, of Apopka, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025. She was a 70 year resident of Apopka and a member of the Ustler family, pioneers of the fern industry in Apopka. She graduated from Apopka High School, class of 1956, and went on to work at what was then Florida Power, where she retired in 1994. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Apopka.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Franklin Martin, her parents Elmer S. and Betty Ustler King, a sister Elizabeth K. Jordan, and brothers Murray King and Brian King. Barbara is survived by her son Morgan Martin, a sister Marsha “Pat” Smith, brother-in-law Tim Jordan, sisters-in-law Brenda Cromas, Kendra King, Susan King and many nieces and nephews.
