Arlynn Gay Oden

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Arlynn Gay Oden, who left this world peacefully on March 17, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on August 19, 1946, in Oakland, California, Arlynn spent her later years in Apopka, Florida, where she touched the lives of many through her compassionate work as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the healthcare field.

Arlynn was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, deeply cherished by her family and friends. She is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, James Oden, and her son, Michael Foy. She leaves behind her loving daughter, Denise Foy; her grandchildren, Erica Rew, Dylan Marquez, and Austin Marquez; their spouses; and four great-grandchildren who will carry on her legacy.

Arlynn had a special gift for bringing joy to others. She could make anyone laugh, and even in her final days, she continued to lift the spirits of those around her with her warmth and humor. Her kindness, strength, and nurturing soul will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In this time of sorrow, we find comfort in the love she shared and the countless lives she brightened. May she rest in peace.
