Alma Reese Baird

Alma Reese Baird, of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026, at the age of 96. Born on October 11, 1929, in Forksville, Virginia, Alma lived her life with a love for the Lord and a dedication to her family. She worked for many years in the business sector as a secretary and bookkeeper. Later, she thrived as the office manager for the Service Master franchise that she and her husband, Ed owned and operated.

Alma is survived by her daughter, Ann (Nathan) Sachritz, granddaughters Lindsay (Matt) DeYoung and Rachel Sachritz, great grandson, Elijah DeYoung, siblings E. B. Reese, Thelma Wood, Rick Reese, and Carolyn (Bert) Holland.

Alma was preceded in death by her parents, Othar and Mattie Reese, husband Ed Baird, son, Edwin Baird and five of her nine brothers and sisters.

Alma will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
