Years have separated us, but it was so good seeing Dottie my last trip to Apopka. Big ole hug we had for each other, because of the beautiful memories over the years serving at New England Heights Baptist Church and being in the same family for years. She was a wonderful cook; made my wedding cake. I’ll never forget the memories and the years we were a close family. Will miss you, Dottie. Heaven’s sounding sweeter every day! My prayers for the family and friends as you grieve the loss of your mother and grandmother, friend.

Dottie and I were friends since 1952. We lived next door to each other, and with her sister, Gayle, shared many good times and a few not so good times. She was my favorite roommate for travel. Always willing to listen, calm, kind, caring and considerate. She brought many gifts to all of our lives and will be truly missed. Rest in peace dear friend.
