My heart and prayers go out to the family and friends who lost someone so dear and special to all of us. We all have our stories of the times we shared with Linda and those fond memories will live on in our hearts forever, no one can ever take those away. When we lose someone we love it’s a difficult time for us as naturally we grieve and feel sad for the loss of a loved one but please remember that beautiful soul that Linda was.
Although she was taken from us way too young remember that she had lived an amazing life and touched so many people that knew her, loved, admired and respected her so rather than sit here sobbing in sadness let’s celebrate the life that she lived and the memories that we will cherish forever. Let’s smile, laugh, rejoice and remember that beautiful smile of hers as seen above and share the stories that lit up our hearts. It’s up to us to keep her spirit alive within us as no one can EVER take away the precious memories/stories nor the love we all shared for Linda Fitzgerald.
Rest In Peace, I look forward to the day when our paths cross again so we can continue the conversations we used to have back in the day. You will never be forgotten and are now an Angel watching us from above.
Here’s a poem I’ve found that I wanted to share, it’s titled I’m Free.
I am free
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free,
I’m following paths God made for me
I took his hand, I heard him call
Then turned, and bid farewell to all
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to sing, to play
Tasks left undone must stay that way
I found my peace … at close of play
And if my parting left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened… deep with sorrow
I wish you sunshine of tomorrow
My life’s been full I’ve savoured much
Good friends, good times
A loved one’s touch
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and peace to thee
God wanted me now
He set me free.
