Jennifer Lynne McDowell Fish was a beautiful wife, mother, daughter, sister, family member and friend. Her life was devoted to her boys, Jason and Garrett, as she treasured and embraced every moment spent with them. She married the love of her life sharing 17 years together. Jennifer lived her life knowing the reality of breast and ovarian cancer due to her family history. She fought two very fierce battles with breast cancer herself. Her first battle started in September 2013 causing her to need surgery that following December. After her surgery she underwent 2 rounds of chemo which was very rough on her body. Even through it knocked her down physically her fighting ninja spirit lighted her through that first battle. Her second battle started December 2018 and ended on December 30, 2019. During that time Jen underwent multiple treatments, conquering many rough obstacles. Her spirit remained fierce during her entire fight. Through the pain she truly made the best of her life and she continued to have many adventures with her family and friends. Her adventurous spirit was contagious and could light up a room. She truly enjoyed the outdoors, especially with her Fish boys. Whether it be a trip to Sams Club, Disney, camping, fishing, boating, surfing, paddle boarding or just sitting beach side, if it involved an adventure Jen was sure to be there. And you better believe she was going to get a deal. Her strength was inspirational and her kindness was unmeasurable. In her short life Jen had many accomplishments. She graduated with an Associated in Arts in 2017 and a certificate in Radiological Health and Safety. She was a full time working mom, managing a dental office and her duties at home. Jennifer was surrounded by the passionate love and support of family and friends every day of her final battle. Team Jen was there to lift her spirits through her final battle which the family is forever grateful for. Let’s all remember the selfless, brave, loving, hilarious life of Jennifer.
