To Robert and Fred Hoover,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. Pam and I intimately knew and admired both your parents. Both were great people, each in their own way whom inspired those of us who knew them and the countless others who relied on them for care from your Dad and healthy advice from your mom over the years. It is a great loss for all of us. Please know you and family are in our thoughts and prayers at this time of parting but am so happy you all will once again be united on that future, not so distant glorious day!
Always your friends,
Ray and Pam Heers

I remember the Hoovers from childhood at the Forest Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church. I later got to work at the Economy Health Food Store and Mrs. Hoover was often there. She was very kind to me when I worked there and to all that shopped there.
I love the picture of her up in a tree!

Mrs. Hoover was like a second mother to me from the time I joined Pathfinders. She was my counselor at every meeting and camp out attended. Words can not describe how much this wonderful women will be missed by every life she touched. John, Fred and Robert, I would like to express my deepest sympathies for the loss of Ma.
Fred Stephens says
Fred & Bob, I’m sure you can trace most of your success and steadiness in life to the love, support and influence of your dad and particularly your mom. While she lived longer than most I doubt you were ready for her to be a central person in your family. I know I wasn’t when my mom passed. I’m praying that God will bring comfort to you as you ponder the blessing she has been to her family, church and friends. Fred

Debby Stephens Edgerton says
Dr and Mrs. Hoover were the first 2 adults I remember meeting when I moved to Orlando in 7th grade. They were the Pathfinder leaders and such great, down to earth people. I have always admired Frieda and she has offered little “jewels” of wisdom over the years. Loved the way she could still rock hi heels in her 80’s!! I’ll miss seeing her at church and family gatherings, although not near as much as her family. My prayers have been rising for all of you who are her “blood” family, her extended family and friends. My parents, Libby and Larry Stephens send their love as well.
We all have a reason to look forward to Heaven,
Debby Stephens Edgerton

Our sincere condolences to the Hoover boys and the entire family. Mrs. Hoover, her husband and sons were so kind and giving to those in their time of need. She was always smiling and asking about you and your family members by name anytime you ran into her (mostly at the health food store). We appreciated the emotional assistance the entire family provided a family member in their time of need. May the Lord console you as you deal with her loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We are so sorry to hear of Mrs Hoover’s passing and are thoughts and Prayers are with the Hoover family.
We grew up with the Hoover’s in Florida, remembering the visits to the Hoover family home on Hoover Lake and doing all the things as kids at their place.
Still remember to this day my visits and how well “Ma” Hoover took care of us boys while visiting there from fixing our lunches to driving us to some place in town that was special.
She and the Hoover family will always be in our memories from our growing up times to the present days.
One fantastic Lady, you will be missed by all who’s lives she touched over the years.
Darrell Laxton says
