William Grady Edwards II, 77, of Altamonte Springs, Florida passed away on Saturday, October 06, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. Mr. Edwards was born on September 16, 1941 in Atlanta, Georgia to late parents William and Eula Edwards. He is also preceded in death by his sister Barbara Herring. Mr. Edwards is survived by his loving wife Nicola Knowles Edwards to whom he was married just four days shy of their 56th anniversary; daughters Rebecca Edwards and Diane (Kevin) Mahoney; grandchildren Joseph (Dawn) VanNess, Christopher VanNess, Cheyenne VanNess, Abigail Mahoney and Benjamin Mahoney; great grandchildren Jaden Elliott and brother David Randolph Edwards. Mr. Edwards was passionate about the military, as he served his country in the United States Army. He was also a loyal member of The Pentecostals of Apopka Church, and took great joy in being the spiritual leader of his family. Mr. Edwards retired in 2002 from Bell South after 36 years of faithful service. He was a devoted family man who exuded passion in all that he did. In his spare time he enjoyed collecting knives, photography and college football. He will be dearly missed by his many loved ones and friends.
