On July 05, 2019, my sister, Jennie McMillan earned her angel wings. Jennie was an amazing, loving, and courageous person. She touched so many lives with her personality and infectious smile. She loved everyone she met. As her sister, Jennie made my life complete, and because of her, she made me a better person. Every day I spent with her was a blessing. Jennie overcame and conquered so many challenges in her life despite her Down syndrome. She truly was an amazing person who loved her family, music, dancing and can’t forget the Number One mean at McDonalds she requested on Fridays. She will truly be missed every day by so many people. So please share in the comments how Jennie affected your life or story you can share about your favorite memory you have with or of her.

Jennie was the sweetest human being! I will always remember her stealing the vodka gummy bears on our beach weekend, asking Nick to turn off his awful country music on the beach, and visiting her in the hospital and she couldn’t wait to tell
us about how Sandy brought her McDonalds. RIP Jennie! You will be missed!! ♥️

I knew Jenny when she was young, due to Sandy and I being best friends! As a teenager she was such a funny, sweet girl! Always giving me hugs…well until she learned that I had a crush on the same boy she did! HAHAHA she would point her finger at me shaking it with a warning to stay away from her boyfriend or else! She said every word with a smile and then she would come and hug me and say she was sorry for being mean….I LOVED that sweet girl and I know that she was a light to everyone that knew her! Praying for you Sandy and family! Love to you my dear friend….I am grieving with you, please know how much you are loved here in N.Y!
